MORE ADVANCED THINGS ! Using your Lima coach as a base, virtually any MK1 coach can be made.

The coaches are dismantled, widened, window positions modified to represent the chosen coach diagram.

Etched brass window frames are applied for the refurbished coaches from 1960 onwards , these are then glazed after painting .

The early , original , coaches are resprayed and then "flush glazed ".

Coach door hinges, grab handles, door handles,in etched brass or wire with cast brass "T" handles, are fitted. Step boards fitted. New 'Easy Build' BR MK1 or B4 bogies or Commonwealth bogies fitted, and overall height adjusted to scale. New Buffer heads fitted , in brass , or white metal .

The coach interior is modified to suit the coach type and painted to
suit 1st or 2nd class. Coach sides sprayed, and ends touched in. Roof vents and plumbing are fitted and roof painted grey . Transfers applied to coach sides, ends and underframes. Single link couplings and concertina corridor end connectors are fitted , with an overlay on the Brake end coaches.

All coach orders from Jan. 2009 have the correct , BR Mk1 profile one piece roof overlay fitted on the widened Lima roof .
